|Victorian Gardens of Two Sisters
|Near Kingsburg, California in a quaint country setting. Our
lavender blue two-story Victorian house, built in the early 1900s,
sits on two acres of manicured grounds, trees, gardens,
Victorian street lights and 300 rose bushes.
Although the grounds are very well suited for wedding ceremonies and receptions, the Gardens could be used for corporate
events, fundraisers, birthday parties and high teas as well.
A three-tiered fountain in the front courtyard is surrounded by blooms and roses and will greet guests as they are guided to
a parking lot behind the Victorian.
An area shaded by a 150 year old eucalyptus tree with a concrete pad and back dropped by orange, peach and lemon
trees could serve as the wedding area. As a guest house for the bride and her attendants is available for dressing and
located adjacent to the area, the bride would be able to follow the events preceding the wedding ceremony.
Following the ceremony, guests could wander to a covered patio area complete with pool and waterfall area, umbrella
tables and chairs. Appetizers and beverages could be served in the area until photographs of the wedding couple are
complete. This area is also to adjacent to a “grotto” area with additional foliage and fountain. This area could be kept as a
bar area throughout the evening or an additional beverage area/bar could be positioned near main dining area/dance floor.
Following appetizers, guests could proceed through the 50 foot lighted arbor and trellis complete with hanging baskets of
greenery and lighted trees to the dining area. The area is surrounded by trees, greenery and Victorian streetlights as well.
Tables and Set-up
Chairs could be set at the wedding site depending on preference and sun vs.shade. The rental of tables and chairs would
depend on the number of guests and the number of guests per table. Set-up of the tables and the chairs would be set
according to the placement of your head table, cake table and dance floor. Reception tables could be placed at the
entrance for the wedding ceremony as well as the reception site. The tables could be skirted and topped with white or
coordinating colors of linen. The head table could be a combination of banquet tables and a small round centered in the
middle for the guests of honor, a straight bank of banquet tables or two tiered with risers, depending on the number of
attendants. The tables could be draped either flat for a more classic look or softly pleated with a tulle swag if preferred. A
fresh flower centerpiece provided by the florist or a candle-scape could be positioned in the middle in the middle of the
table. Rose petals and votives could also be scattered down the tables. A backdrop for the head table could also be
provided or the natural greenery and arbor could serve as well! A dance floor could be positioned in front of the head
Linens and Table Service
The cake table could be covered with white linen in a style to fit the ambience of the event and cake. Rose petals, greenery
and votives could also be scattered around cake knife and server. A dance floor could be positioned in front of the head
table. Linen (85” white or color) or specialty linens could be provided as well as napkins. Banquet linen (usually white)
would be used to drape the reception table, appetizer table, head table and cake table (softly pleated around edge and
topped.Table top service could include white and silver banded plate with a palm flatware pattern. Appetizer, dinner and
cake plates; wine, champagne and water glasses; coffee cups and silverware could be provided.
Tents and Floral
Tents could also be provided for to create additional ambience as well as sun vs. shade. Strings of white lights and/or
material could be swagged from the center to the perimeter of the tent. Chandeliers or an assortment of paper covered
lanterns could also be used. The tent poles could also be wrapped in linen or other materials and tied with a coordinated
colors of ribbon or a small poesy of fresh flowers if preferred. Depending on preferences, a florist of your own choosing
could add fresh floral arrangements. We also can offer different styles of centerpieces with optional glassware, candles and
greenery that would fit your style of event.
We have worked with several caterers in the area which provide wonderful meal preparation and meal service. We would
